Beachmere Art Society is partnering with at least five other community groups to bring an affordable festival to Moreton Bay. Instead of spending loads of money at the EKKA, see local artists do demos, play barefoot bowls, take a tour of Beachmere’s edible garden, learn to play ukulele for free, learn how to art, or find out about the secret stories of Beachmere. Event entry is free! The festival is run 100% by volunteers and estimate that between participating groups there are between 90 and 100 volunteers who will help out during the event. Have some fun, do some things, eat some sausages and bring the family. This event is catered to young, old and in between. It is accessible for those with mobility issues and there are activities indoors to keep warm.
