A Very Tavern Christmas in July

If you’re looking for a lovely lunch or delicious dinner, the Redcliffe Tavern is hosting two sittings of Christmas in July, every day in July! This two-course feast includes your mixed roast and trimmings, plus a Christmas pudding and custard for dessert, and at just $35 a ticket for adults and $15 for kids aged 5 to 17, it’s the perfect outing for the whole family.

Drop in at The Belvedere to enjoy a festive feast of spit roast and all the trimmings, plus a drink on arrival. At $49 per person and a weekly rotating menu, there’s plenty to love about this feast. Whether you’re a fan of rib fillet on the bone or prefer lamb, be sure to check the menu before you book your meal. You don’t want to miss out on your favourite meat because you visit in the wrong menu cycle!

Samford Harvest

It’s just a short drive and a great excuse for a day trip – and what better way to welcome the winter season and celebrate Christmas in July than by visiting Samford for the harvest? Chef Alastair Macleod has created a stunning five-course menu incorporating local, hand-selected, and seasonal ingredients. Enjoy a relaxing meal and community at Loop Growers and you’re free to bring your own drinks. You can book as a group or find yourself at a communal table getting to know new people.

Drag Bingo

Time for fun… 41! Miss Lady Saint Diva is the ‘hostess with the mostess‘ for Drag Bingo. You can join the fun at The Central Tavern. The doors open at six and bingo kicks off at seven. In the meantime, you can grab a drink and mingle with the crowd. You can even expect a special guest! Your ticket ($25) includes entry, raffle, and bingo book! Plus, there’s singing and dancing, so expect a good night of fun and laughter.

Christmas in July Gala Ball

If you’re looking for an excuse to get dressed up and dance the night away, you may be interested in a charity gala ball hosted by Cenvet. It’s not exactly in Caboolture, but it’s a nice train ride to get to the city! And while many attendees will be veterinarians looking to network with colleagues, there will be plenty of people simply looking to enjoy a great night out and support an important mental health charity. In addition to a Christmas menu curated by an experienced chef, there will be music, dancing, and festive décor, too. Santa will be there, will you?

St Kieran’s Fete

Prepare for a day of community spirit and delicious treats, with everything from thrilling rides, games, and stalls to sweet treats and savoury delights. It’s open for everyone and entry is free, so it’s an ideal opportunity to treat the kids to an enjoyable day out.

Trivia Night

If you’re looking for something a little bit different, why not check out Baringa State Secondary College’s Christmas in July Trivia Night? There’s a bar to grab drinks, but you can bring your own food as your team battles it out for quiz supremacy with a $100 prize up for grabs. Make sure you dress up as there’s a prize for the best look!

Xmas in July: Modern Jive Dance Party

Okay, so this one is a bit of a drive, but it’s an afternoon activity, so it gives you plenty of time to travel to Maroochydore and back. Plus, it’s just a great chance to get down and boogie. Whether you dress in sparkles or choose a selection of Christmas colours, get dressed up to the nines and bring your favourite food and drinks (yes, you can bring alcohol). It’s just $20 per person for four hours of dancing fun and you can come on your own, as a pair, or book a table for six (or twelve)! It’s going to be an exciting afternoon.
