Have you been following the clues on Caboolture Neighbourhood Centre’s Facebook Page about the exciting new kid’s activity debuting at their Family Fun Day this month?
Did you guess the answer is ‘dinosaurs’? Well, you would be right!
There are many activities families can enjoy for free on the day, but this one comes with bite! Just a gentle, pretend bite of course as the dinosaur wranglers from Dino Encounters bring an exciting experience to entertain and educate young and old alike.
Many children are ‘dinosaur mad’ so make their dreams come true by bringing them along to interact with the baby dinosaurs and their handlers in a show they will talk about until the next Ice Age. This prehistoric adventure is packed with excitement, laughter and surprises for all ages.
A Day of Connection, Fun, and Community
Managing Director of Caboolture Neighbourhood Centre, Malcolm Thomson, said the Family Fun Day offered many ways to help families in a friendly, relaxed environment featuring free activities and resources.
“Family Fun Day is about bringing a little joy and hope to community members that may be suffering through the cost-of-living and housing crises,” Malcolm said.
“The Fun Day also brings together in one spot a number of community service organisations who will be there to provide answers to the many questions community members may have about support that can be provided and other available assistance.”
Forget your worries as you munch on a delicious, free sausage sizzle and the kids have their faces painted, try some cool crafts and pet the farm animals in the petting zoo. Soak up the love and support of what community means as you delight in live music by Drevesen and browse the stalls to meet people who are there to help with any problems you may be facing.
Thanks to kind donations from businesses and individuals in the area, there will be great prizes up for grabs too. Raffle tickets are only $1, so try your luck.
