Limber up those vocal cords and get ready to sing at the top of your voice as the Caboolture Christmas Carols sleigh into town.

That’s right folks, it’s that time of year again, the silly season has arrived and here’s your opportunity to get into the holiday spirit.

The second in a string of signature Christmas carol events happening across the City of Moreton Bay, the Caboolture event on 1 December promises to be an afternoon and evening full of Christmas magic and spirit.

Festivities and Twilight Markets Await

Caboolture Christmas Carols

Caboolture Community Choir are once again joining the chorus of festivities at this year’s carols. With 15 members in the choir, the group is hoping most of their singers will be part of their carols performance.

“We are delighted to be singing at the Caboolture Christmas Carols again this year,” Caboolture Community Choir secretary Catherine Croft said. “It is always a highlight of our festive season and we take great pride in singing in front of the families and community of Caboolture.”

The choir has plenty of songs lined up for the community.

“We are planning to sing a variety of Christmas songs, ranging from traditional carols such as ‘The First Noel’ based on the music of Pachelbel’s Canon and ‘O Holy Night’ to more modern songs, such as ‘Merry Christmas (War Is Over)’ and our favourite, ‘It’s Christmas Everywhere’,” Catherine said.

Along with plenty of singing, the carols event will also feature twilight markets with local crafts, jewellery, toys and other handmade goodies. There will be lots of yummy food to satisfy hungry tummies and of course, Santa’s Village will be buzzing with excitement and activities for all the little ones and big kids at heart!

Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism CEO Natassia Wheeler said she encouraged everyone to bring their family and friends along to enjoy all the festive fun and celebrate the joy of Christmas.

“The Caboolture Christmas Carols is the perfect way for our community to come together and celebrate the magic of the season,” Ms Wheeler said. “This event is set to be a festive evening full of family-friendly fun.”
