Be transported to the Middle East and beyond with dazzling dancers, amazing food and an exotic bazaar to explore!

Caboolture will come alive on Saturday, 23 November for an evening of glittering entertainment, as Rhythms of Mayyada showcases belly dancing, sword dances and many other alternative arts dance styles.

Event organiser and owner, teacher and entertainer at Belly Beats and Booty Buster, Tia Wyatt, said everyone would have a great time and see that ANYONE can dance.

“I hope that the women and kids performing grow their confidence and body positivity and I also hope that people in the audience feel the want or need to do the same after seeing the show,” Tia said.

“I got into belly dancing in my teens when I wanted something new and different to try and haven’t stopped belly dancing since.

“After the dance school I went to closed, I couldn’t let so many women and kids miss out on something so special, so I opened Belly Beats and Booty Buster to continue the art.”

Tia said she had brought together over 20 performances from some of Queensland’s best Middle Eastern Dance Schools, including Embellyment, Sacred Lotus Bellydance and  Empyrean Dance.

“This show includes women, children and dancers from all over Moreton Bay and beyond,” she said. “There will be traditional, tribal, modern Egyptian and fusion styles to enchant the audience and maybe even Bollywood dancers and hula hoop artists!”
