As the weather starts to cool, this recipe is quick, easy and warming. It is also fun for the kids. The recipe has been supplied by one of our past members.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup plain flour
- 2 cup milk
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 225g macaroni (cooked)
- 2x90g packets of Cheezels (finely crushed)
- salt to taste
Method
- In a pan on the stove melt butter, then add the flour and blend well.
- When well blended add the milk and mix well.
- To the mixture add the grated cheese and mix thoroughly.
- Finally add the cooked macaroni, coating it well.
- Pour mixture into a greased baking dish, and cover with the crushed Cheezel. Bake in a moderate oven until golden brown.
