January Festivals

Music in the Park Scarborough

  • Date: Sunday 26 January

Australia Day on Bribie Island

Brennan Park and Chamber of Commerce Park play host to a cracking stage program of live music, there will be games, a few food trucks, market stalls and a good ole’ community sausage sizzle.

February Festivals

Moreton Bay Region Lunar New Year

The Moreton Bay Region Lunar New Year event brings vibrant celebrations of the East to Caboolture. It’s a family-fun evening to celebrate the start of the Chinese New Year.

Moreton Kids Festival celebrates the wonder and boundless enthusiasm of youth, featuring a jam-packed program of family-friendly entertainment.

SummerSalt

Bluewater Festival

  • Date: Thursday 28 and Friday 29 March, 2024

The famous Bluewater Festival at Shorncliffe Pier offers food, markets, entertainment, live bands, kids’ activities, and fireworks in conjunction with the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race.

Straddie Easter Carnival: Dunwich

April Festivals

Caboolture Festival

  • Date: Sunday 28 April 2024

May Festivals

Anywhere Theatre Festival

This festival brings art and performance together in a range of performances across Moreton Bay and Brisbane.

The Hills Festival

The Hills come alive with fireworks, rides, entertainment and workshops for the month-long program of Hills Festival. Events are held in Arana Hills, Bunya, Draper, Everton Hills, Ferny Hills and Albany Creek.

Moreton Bay Multisport Festival

Held in May, the festival in Clontarf features twilight running conditions on Saturday and a triathlon on Sunday, raising funds for the Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Where We Belong Festival

Redcliffe’s biggest music festival at Picnic Hill features a showcase of headline and local bands, food trucks, merch stands, and a beer garden.

Dayboro Day Festival

The Dayboro Day Festival returns annually with the Dayboro Antique & Collectables Fair, attracting over 20,000 visitors to this quaint rural township.

June Festivals

Steam Fair

Bonfire Night

Woodford Folk Festival
