Everyone’s favourite extra-terrestrial is coming to Narangba for a drive-in movie night.
Grab your snacks, comfy pillows and blankets and get ready to laugh, cry and ride along as E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial hits the big outdoor screen in Ferrier Park for one night only.
Join E.T. and Elliott as they embark on an unforgettable journey of friendship, courage and somehow hiding from Elliott’s unsuspecting mother!
A Nostalgic Drive-In Experience
Following the success of Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism’s (MBRIT) first Drive-In Movie in the Park in North Harbour in June last year, they decided to bring the experience back in 2025.
“The Moreton Bay community can expect a night of family fun, laughter and maybe even a few happy tears as they enjoy E.T. in this unique drive-in experience!” an MBRIT spokesperson said.
Released in 1982, Steven Spielberg’s E.T. remains one of the most cherished family films of all time and is perfect for kids of all ages. From the heart-warming bond between Elliott and E.T. to the iconic scenes of a flying bicycle silhouetted against the moon, the film’s moments are etched in cinematic history.
So, how can you participate in the movie experience? All you need to do is park your car, tune in to the designated radio frequency and immerse yourself in the movie. Car places are limited, so ensure you register your vehicle once registrations have opened.
