Give the kids a fun throwback night with this month’s Drive-In Movie in the Park in Narangba.

Families are invited to enjoy A Minecraft Movie at Ferrier Road Park on Saturday, 21 February, thanks to City of Moreton Bay.

Mayor Peter Flannery encouraged people to attend the free event, which is being held for the second year at Ferrier Road Park.

“Seeing a drive-in movie is such a nostalgic experience and we are thrilled this family-friendly event is returning for another year,” he said.

“The movie is free, so you simply need to park the car, tune into the designated radio frequency, and sit back and enjoy the movie.

“It will be a great, affordable night out for the whole family to enjoy.

“We are proud to present this magical movie evening, which is just one of many vibrant and free community events happening across our City.”

A Minecraft Movie follows four misfits who are pulled through a mysterious portal into the Overworld, a cubic world driven by imagination. To find their way home, they must learn to survive in this strange land while embarking on a quest alongside an unlikely master crafter.

The film stars Jack Black and Jason Momoa and is based on the best-selling video game. It is rated PG for content that some children may find confusing or upsetting. Closed captions will be displayed on screen during the movie.

Dogs are welcome at the event, but must remain on a lead.
