Construction is set to begin on a new soccer clubhouse at the Harris Avenue Sports Complex in Narangba, following the award of a tender by City of Moreton Bay.
The project, which will provide essential facilities for the Narangba Eagles Football Club, is expected to improve the overall experience for soccer players, officials, and spectators in the area.
Mayor Peter Flannery said that the project would provide the Narangba Eagles Football Club with a new clubhouse that meets their current and future needs.
“The new facilities will be modern, accessible, and inclusive, making soccer more enjoyable for players and spectators alike,” he said.
Clubhouse Features and Timeline
The clubhouse will be located between the two existing soccer fields and will include accessible change rooms, a canteen, referee rooms, and essential amenities.
The $6.1 million project has been partially funded by a $3 million contribution from the Federal Government’s Investing in Our Communities (IiOC) program.
Construction is expected to be completed by early 2027, subject to weather conditions.
