From bold brushstrokes to handcrafted pieces, the Artisans’ Guild of Caboolture Members Exhibition will showcase the depth of the region’s creative scene this month.
The exhibition will take place from 1 October to 31 October at the Artisans’ Guild Gallery in Burpengary East.
President Claire Morgan said there was nothing quite as exciting as seeing the Members Exhibition come to life each year.
“Watching the gallery slowly transform as each piece is delivered and carefully placed is truly special – it’s a celebration of creativity, dedication, and community spirit all in one,” Claire said.
“This year promises to be especially inspiring, with a rich mix of paintings, photography, sculpture, textiles, ceramics, woodwork, jewellery, and craft. Whether you’re drawn to fine art or traditional craft, there will be something to capture your imagination.
“Visitors can expect to see some standout pieces from emerging artists who are pushing boundaries with their ideas and techniques.”
An exclusive awards night for Artisans Guild members will be held to announce the winning entries.
“As President of the Artisans Guild of Caboolture and District Inc, I can honestly say I feel sorry for our judges, as each piece is uniquely beautiful,” Claire said. “Art and craft is a very personal thing, but I am sure there is something for everyone.”
Supporting Local Artists
The winning artworks will be on public display throughout the month of October, which Claire said would be a wonderful benefit to both artists and visitors.
“Artists gain great exposure for their work, giving them more opportunities to sell and connect with the community, while visitors have plenty of time to return, explore at their own pace, and discover new favourites,” she said.
She added that supporting local artists in the Moreton Bay region was vital, and the Guild played a central role in making that possible.
“We provide a platform for emerging talent, encourage collaboration, and help showcase the incredible skill and diversity within our community,” she said.
“Overall, this exhibition is not just about art; it’s about people, passion, and connection. I warmly invite everyone to visit, support our artisans, and share in the joy of this year’s event.”
