It’s a milestone worth celebrating and St Paul’s Lutheran Primary School in Caboolture is certainly doing it in style.

In 2025, the school marks an incredible 40 years of delivering Christ-centred education and nurturing generations of young learners. Since opening its doors in 1985, St Paul’s has grown from humble beginnings into a vibrant and future-focused school community.

Principal Katrina Valencia said she was more than proud of the school’s history, which had helped shape St Paul’s into the thriving learning environment it was today.

“We are excited to celebrate 40 years of history and many more years building bright futures for the children of Caboolture,” she said.

To honour this four-decade journey, the school has hosted a series of nostalgic and meaningful events throughout the year. The fun kicked off with an 80s Disco Day, where students and staff dressed up in 80s fashion to celebrate the decade the school was founded. This was followed by a high-energy 80s Music Bingo Night, which had the community singing along and sharing laughs. A special throwback tuckshop menu complete with chocolate crackles and frog in the pond also brought delicious memories into the mix for students.

Meanwhile, Year 3 students have taken a deep dive into the school’s legacy, speaking with past staff members and exploring stories from the early days of St Paul’s.

Winter Carnival Highlights & Community Celebration

The highlight of the celebrations is still to come, with the St Paul’s Winter Carnival on Saturday, 19 July promising to be an unforgettable day. The entire community is invited to join in the festivities, which will include a spectacular fireworks display, live entertainment, student performances, thrilling rides, market stalls and mouth-watering food.

Adding a special touch, the Shop @ St Paul’s will showcase handcrafted items created by students from every year level – a creative expression of learning with purpose. A historical display will also allow visitors to reflect on four decades of memories through photos, artefacts and stories.

As the school and local community come together to mark this important anniversary, the message is clear, St Paul’s isn’t just celebrating the past, it’s building bright futures for generations to come.
