Free family fun is on the agenda for this year’s Wamuran Lions Family Carnival.
After being rained out last year, the carnival returns on 19 July at the Wamuran Sports Complex and is ready to bring the fun! The best part – it’s all free!
Not just free entry, but the rides, entertainment, face painting, balloon and bubble artists – everything is free. This is an event that any family can head along to and have a wonderful time, all without breaking the bank. You are more than welcome to take a picnic, but there will be food and drink vendors and market stalls available to make purchases.
Community Spirit & Event Highlights
Organisers would love to see everyone make the most of this amazing day to celebrate the local community by creating a vibrant, welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.
“The Wamuran Lions Club hopes that this free children’s carnival will embody the spirit of community and a true sense of togetherness,” organisers said. “It reflects the Lions Club’s ongoing commitment to the Wamuran community and we aim to make it a cherished annual event for families to enjoy for years to come.
“We extend a heartfelt thanks to our volunteers, members and sponsors for helping to make this event possible.”
Other highlights will include blacksmith demonstrations, performances from Wamuran, Delaneys Creek and Mt Mee State Schools and local band The Plumbdogs will also be gracing the stage.
