Food lovers get ready, as the Caboolture Food Fest returns for the third time this year.
Twelve food vendors will be serving a variety of cuisines at the event, to be held on Sunday, 8 November at Caboolture Showgrounds, giving visitors a range of options and supporting local businesses.
Shawn Pickett, Events Manager at Caboolture Showgrounds, said organisers are expecting a big crowd this year, with previous events attracting between 2,000 and 3,000 people.
“This will be the third Food Fest held at the Caboolture Showgrounds,” Shawn said.
“The event is a family-friendly community event showcasing a variety of food vendors, live entertainment and activities for all ages.”

The last Food Fest featured chicken schnitzels, burgers, dagwood dogs, hot chips, freshly squeezed lemonade, iced tea, poffertjes, Turkish pizza, slow-cooked meats, pancakes and gluten-free options. Activities for the kids included free jumping castles.
“Each Food Fest provides an opportunity for local businesses and food vendors to connect with the community while offering families an enjoyable and affordable day out at the showgrounds,” Shawn said.
Free parking is available within the showgrounds and on the surrounding roads.
Entry to this event is a gold coin donation per person.
