A Wheely Cruisy Day for Car Enthusiasts

Get ready to rev those engines as Cruisin’ Caboolture rolls into town this month. 

Check out what’s under the hood, admire the lush leather seats, see the shiny wheels in all their glory and marvel at the bright, bold and colourful vehicles as they set the scene for this free, family day out at James Street Precinct on Sunday, 27 April. 

Set to offer a vibrant mix of classic and modern automobiles, live entertainment and fun rides and craft activities for the kids, this year’s event will feature more than just an impressive line-up of stylish cars, with bikes also gearing up to join the show.  

Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism CEO Luke Edwards said Cruisin’ Caboolture was a great family-friendly day out in Caboolture and the best spot to see elegant cars and quality local entertainment all in one place. 

“Cruisin’ Caboolture is the perfect opportunity for car enthusiasts and families to come together for a thrilling day in the heart of Caboolture,” Mr Edwards said. “I encourage you to gather your family and friends, explore the impressive line-up of vehicles and enjoy a fantastic day of entertainment and community spirit at Cruisin’ Caboolture.”

Show ‘n’ Shine Car Show and More!

At the heart of Cruisin’ Caboolture is the Show ‘n’ Shine Car Show, featuring more than 100 vehicles, ranging from classic models to custom modifications. Participants will compete across several categories, vying for awards, prizes and of course, bragging rights in the following:

  • Best of Show: $500 Prize & Trophy 
  • Best Bike: $300 Prize 
  • Best Classic (1950 – 1989): $200 Prize 
  • Best Modern (1990 or Newer): $200 Prize 
  • Best Muscle Car or Hot Rod: $200 Prize 
  • Best Modified: $200 Prize 
  • Councillor’s Choice Award: $100 Prize 
  • People’s Choice Award: $100 Prize 
  • Lucky Door Prize: $100 Prize 

If cars, bikes, and live music weren’t enough to delight you, you can also enjoy a range of local craft brews and delicious food trucks to satisfy those taste buds.
