This month, the Caboolture Neighbourhood Centre invites families to forget their worries for a while and enjoy all their Open Day has to offer.

The event returns on Thursday, 9 April, and offers families a school holiday treat at no cost – with a free sausage sizzle, free soft drink, live entertainment, and more to put a smile on everyone’s face.

Connecting the Community: Accessing Local Support Services

Managing Director of Caboolture Neighbourhood Centre, Malcolm Thomson, said the Open Day focused on bringing the community together for some fun and entertainment, as well as support.

“The event makes it easy for people to meet with local service providers to obtain information and advice about the types of support available, in a safe and friendly environment,” he said.

Special attractions include a bouncy castle, tunes from the Northside Concert Orchestra, and interactive experiences such as meeting farm animals in the petting zoo. Other activities include face painting, lawn games, crafts, karaoke, and an opportunity to browse the community service organisation stalls.

Thanks to donations from businesses and individuals, there will be great prizes in the raffle with tickets only $1 each.
