If you’re a fan of Dungeons and Dragons (D&D), then this regular event may be for you.

Weekly D&D games are held on Wednesday evenings at Buddy Brewing in Burpengary, with the next night for beginners set for 8 April.

The idea for the event came from the hosts, T&T’s Arcane Armory, known as The Two Terries. They said it was a way to give community members the opportunity to sit down and learn the game.

“We wanted a location that was local,” one of the Terries said. “This space was built for community, creativity and connection.

“D&D is at its best when people can relax, share a drink, and spend a few hours immersed in storytelling together. Buddy Brewing provides a welcoming, inclusive environment where new players feel comfortable learning and experienced players can settle in for longer sessions.”

Roll for Initiative: Beginner Sessions and Themed Nights

While costumes aren’t essential, participants are encouraged to dress up as a character if they wish. All players are welcome to participate, regardless of their level of experience.

Games are guided and led by an experienced Dungeon Master. While there are pre-made characters provided, participants can also bring their own if they are keen.

“We have events specifically for beginner players to try,” Terrie said. “You can also expect an adventuring party with experienced players.”
