Those currently seeking work or a new career path will understand how challenging it can be to find the right job.

On Tuesday, 15 September, CAMS (Community Action for a Multicultural Society) will host a Job Connect Expo at The Hub in Caboolture, offering attendees the opportunity to learn new skills and make connections that could help them in the search for meaningful employment.

CAMS Caboolture Program Manager Ariana McCarthy said they were looking forward to supporting job seekers at Job Connect.

“Join us for practical and empowering workshops that will help with your skills and confidence in gaining employment,” Ariana said. “We offer help in strengthening your resume, improving your interview skills and understanding workplace expectations.

“The event is open to everyone in the community, and we especially support the multicultural community in becoming job ready.

“Employers, training organisations and other related local services will be here on the day to help people explore job opportunities, training pathways, and available support.”

How to Make the Most of Job Connect Expo

Job Connect is designed to connect employers with prospective employees in a more relaxed setting than a formal job interview.

Everyone is welcome to simply show up on the day. For further information, email Ariana at camsreception@caboolturenhc.com.au
