This year’s Senior’s Concert and Christmas Morning Tea will bring a new focus on entertainment for attendees, offering food, festive tunes and all-round merriment.
Hosted by the Honourable Mark Ryan MP, State Member for Morayfield, the event will take place in November to “get local seniors together for morning tea, a few laughs and some great music.”
According to Mr Ryan, in previous years the emphasis was on information, but now the schedule will include performances from the Caboolture Community Choir and professional magician Dr Ace.
Celebrating Community and Connection
“My Seniors Concert and Christmas Morning Tea has been going for more than a decade and is a regular event on the calendar of many of our older residents,” Mr Ryan said.
Mr Ryan said the location at the Caboolture Memorial Hall was wheelchair accessible, with parking available in the surrounding Caboolture Hub precinct – making for a relaxed and enjoyable evening.
“It’s always great to see so many familiar faces and to receive hugs and handshakes from people I’ve grown to know like family,” he said.
Those seniors living in the Caboolture area who would like to attend are encouraged to RSVP to the event here, with more information also available on the website.
