Caboolture food lovers, get ready, because Food Fest is back and this year is set to be its tastiest year yet.

On Sunday, 15 March, the much-anticipated event will transform the Caboolture Showgrounds into a food-lovers’ paradise, showcasing a wide range of gourmet food trucks from around the world.

Event manager Shawn Pickett said Food Fest was created to celebrate local food while bringing people together in a casual, inclusive setting.

“It’s all about creating a space where the community can come together and enjoy great food in a relaxed environment,” Shawn said.

“Whether you’re trying something new, catching up with friends, or spending time with family, Food Fest is designed to be easy, enjoyable, and welcoming.”

With entry via a gold coin donation, Food Fest offers an affordable night out for families, couples, and groups of friends looking to enjoy a community event close to home.

A Community Tradition Beyond the Food

Free entertainment will run throughout the evening, adding to the festival atmosphere. Visitors will be able to sample a range of gourmet food, including sweet treats and savoury favourites, while boutique retail stalls offer additional options to browse. With a mix of food, shopping, and entertainment, there is something for everyone to enjoy throughout the night.

Shawn said Food Fest continued to resonate with the community for reasons beyond the food.

“It’s more than an event, it’s a community tradition,” he said. “Families come to make memories, children grow up enjoying the excitement of live entertainment and festival lights, and friends reconnect over food and conversation.”

With its open-air setting, family-friendly vibe, and focus on supporting local vendors, Food Fest has become a regular fixture on Caboolture’s events calendar.

“Events like this give people a chance to slow down, enjoy the moment, and feel connected to their community,” Shawn said. “That sense of togetherness is what makes Food Fest so special.”

This event will be the first of three Food Fest celebrations planned for the year, with additional dates scheduled for 23 August and 8 November.
