Head down to Sports Central Caboolture to welcome in the New Year with their Ultimate 80s Party. Dance the night away or chill and reminisce to the greatest hits of the decade that brought us big hair bands, lycra and a multitude of megastars across nearly every genre of popular contemporary music in existence.
From Michael Jackson to Metallica, Madonna to Billy Joel, and Duran Duran to Adam Ant, the 80s were bursting with talent and new sounds. Join in as the band turns back time and plays all the greatest hits for the countdown to 2025.
Lucky door and best-dressed prizes will be won on the night so dig deep into your wardrobe for your funkiest gear.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Caboolture Sports Club with a classy Black and Gold Masquerade Party.
Dress to impress in your best black and gold outfit and don’t forget to wear your mask. Be inspired by the costumes of a traditional Venetian ball, get down with a little Steampunk or show off your own style as you enjoy a night of fun and entertainment.

Ready to power into 2025 at a family-friendly event?
Everyone is encouraged to dress as their favourite superhero for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve at Morayfield Tavern!
Whether your hero of choice is Spiderman, Wonder Woman, Thor or another caped crusader, this is a fun event that suits all ages. Especially as kids under 12 eat free from 5pm to 9pm!
Kids will love the face-painting and there are lucky door prizes, as well as many prizes for the best costumes.

If you love the bush and have an interest in the protection of threatened native plant species, don’t miss this FREE Flora Survey Training Workshop at CREEC Environmental Education Centre on Friday, 15 November.
Nature lovers with a desire to assist in species conservation will enjoy this workshop brought to you by Queensland Threatened Plant Network. Topics include establishing a plant profile, key information to collect when conducting a plant survey and how survey data can be used to conserve threatened plants. You will then have the opportunity to put theory into action with a walk in the bushland to practice survey techniques.
Morning tea and lunch are provided. Dress for the bush (boots, hat, long clothing) and BYO water, clipboard, pen and GPS (if you have one).

Racks of dresses, skirts, shirts and pants of all sizes, colours and styles will be available for your bargain-hunting pleasure. Most are women’s fashions but there will be something for the gentlemen too.
Everything is $5 and under, with proceeds going to support all the fundraising that Lisa and the team do for the community.

Discover a magical hall full of themed stalls and fun family activities at the Halloween and Mystical Indoor Twilight Event at Morayfield Sports and Events Centre on Saturday, 26 October.

As dusk descends, all manner of creatures emerge at the Village of the Damned Halloween Event at Caboolture Historical Village on Thursday, 31 October.
Gird your loins and wander through the village to see the beautifully decorated buildings and visit the Halloween market for all your enchanting essentials. Treat yourself to delectable nibbles and keep your eyes peeled for apparitions.
Don’t forget to cast your vote for your favourite display, all in support of local community groups. Some are very interactive so be ready for surprises!
