Connect, create, and cultivate with a like-minded community this month with the return of a popular health and wellbeing festival.

Pranafest will be held at Woodfordia from 5 to 7 June with a program of artists, workshops, breathwork, movement and sound healing.

Media and Marketing Manager, Narelle Walsh, said this year’s event marked its sixth year, and that Pranafest was celebrating the milestone by deepening the experiences offered.

“We are known for the fact that patrons can expect a beautifully curated blend of music, movement, workshops, healing spaces, and conscious community connection, all woven together with intention,” Narelle said.

“Additionally, one of the biggest shifts this year is the inclusion of live-streamed community discussions with two global wellness thought leaders, which opens up a whole new landscape for us to play in.

“We’re also placing a greater emphasis on storytelling across the festival, not just on stage, but through the journeys people have across the weekend.”

Across the weekend, patrons can expect a full schedule of activities in five main spaces on site. Performing artists include American singer-songwriter Nahko, South Australian musician Deya Dova, former frontman of New Zealand musical act Salmonella Dub, Tiki Taane, and Australian/Samoan singer, ukulele strummer and drummer Bobby Alu.

Patrons will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets that allow them to camp at the event site.

From humble beginnings six years ago at Borumba Deer Park in Imbil to creating a permanent home at Woodfordia for thousands of patrons, Pranafest has grown, but so has its community.

“I think what makes Pranafest unique is the intention behind it,” Narelle said. “It’s not just about entertainment, it’s about creating a space for growth, connection, and genuine community.

“We’re incredibly mindful of how we build the festival, from the facilitators we bring in, to the partnerships we choose, to the way we honour the land we’re on. There’s a real sense of responsibility and care that underpins everything.

“And for anyone who’s been thinking about coming, this feels like a really special year to experience it. Being our sixth anniversary, there’s a lot of heart being poured into making it something truly memorable. We’ve got a few surprises up our sleeves, and are counting the days to welcome everyone.”
