Australia Day brings a chance for locals to come together, reflect and enjoy time with family and friends.

On 26 January, sun, water and plenty of fun will fill the day at a free Music in the Park event on Bribie Island. From 1pm to 5pm, Brennan Park in Bongaree is set to come alive with live music.

Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic rugs, folding chairs, and plenty of sunscreen to snag the perfect spot by the water. There will be loads of free activities to keep the kids busy, while the food trucks roll in serving up a variety of options to satisfy every craving.

For more information, visit Music in the Park events page.

Australia Day at Caboolture Historical Village

For those in Caboolture, head along to the Australia Day celebrations at the Caboolture Historical Village. There will be demonstrations, activities and music, as well as a grand parade featuring vintage vehicles, tractors and trucks.

The entry fee for the Historical Village is $15 for adults, $5 for children aged 6-16, and free for kids under five. The village has kept its prices the same as previous years, understanding how tough times have been for many.
